DBOSS Mock 1

by DontrelleBoss

The first of the year

1. Jaguars: Teddy Bridgewater QB Louisville

Although Jadaveon Clowney is by far the most talented player in this draft, the Jags must resolve their QB issues as soon as possible. Teddy Bridgewater is a complete prospect who will greatly improve the franchise as a whole. 6'3" 218lbs

2. Buccaneers: Jake Matthews OT Texas AM

The Bucs have players to build around, especially on defense. The offensive line has room for improvement and Matthews is the type of well-rounded prospect they need. Although Clowney is available, DaQuan Bowers and Adrian Clayborn are excellent young ends. matthews should be the pick. 6'5" 315lbs

3. Vikings: Jadeveon Clowney DE South Carolina

And here he is: Clowney to the Vikings. With Jared Allen aging and becoming a FA, the Vikes have few pass-rushing options. Clowney is a perfect fit for this team. 6'6" 270lbs

4. Texans: Derek Carr QB Fresno State

Neither Matt Schaub, TJ Yates, or Case Keenum are the future of this team. Derek Carr is a better prospect than his brother, and maybe even Bridgewater. Despite playing for Fresno State, Carr is the real deal. He can instantly turn this team into a Super Bowl contender with the talent the Texans have. 6'4" 225lbs

5. Falcons: Ra'Shede Hageman DT Minnesota

This team needs two things to turn itself into a contender: Julio Jones and an upgrade along the defensive line. Hageman is an athletic freak at 6'6" 311lbs who can play NT, 3-4 end, or 4-3 DT.

6. Steelers: C.J. Mosley OLB Alabama

Mosley may be the best player in this draft, but he slides to Pittsburgh due to the lack of need for his position. I believe he can still dominate as a 3-4 ILB in the pros. Mosley has All-Pro potential and may be one of the best players to come out of this class.

7. Rams: HaHa Clinton-Dix S Alabama

8. Giants: Khalil Mack OLB Division II

9. Browns: Marcus Mariota QB Oregon

10. Bills: Anthony Barr OLB UCLA

11. Rams: Cyrus Kouandjio OT Alabama

12. Eagles: Sammy Watkins WR Clemson

13. Raiders: Marqise Lee WR USC

14. Titans: Timmy Jernigan DT Florida State

15. Dolphins: Taylor Lewan OT Michigan

16. Ravens: Antonio Richardson OT Tennessee

17. Jets: Mike Evans WR Texas AM

18. Cardinals: James Hurst OT North Carolina

19. Bears: Ryan Shazier OLB Ohio State

20. Panthers: Eric Ebron TE North Carolina

21. Cowboys: Scott Chrichton DE Oregon State

22. Chargers: Darqueze Dennard CB Michigan State

23. Browns: Jordan Matthews WR Vanderbilt

24. Lions: Kyle Fuller CB Virginia Tech

25. Packers: Ifo Ekpre-Olomu CB Oregon

26. Patriots: Anthony Johnson DT LSU

27. Bengals: Vic Beasley DE Clemson

28. 49ers: Justin Gilbert CB Oklahoma State

29. Saints: Adrian Hubbard OLB Alabama

30. Chiefs: Kevin Norwood WR Alabama

31. Seahawks: Cyril Richardson OG Baylor

32. Broncos: Stephon Tuitt DT Notre Dame
